Regiomontanus-Purbach
 East of Mare Nubium is a rugged crater
field dominated by the craters Purbach and Regiomontanus,
located near the left center edge of the photograph. South of
Regiomontanus is Crater Walter, while a four-crater chain — la
Caille, Blanchinus, Werner and Aliacensis
— runs from north to south, beginning just east of Purbach.
